ALTRUIST STEPS INTO M-GOVERNANCE

To benefit the rural consumer and relief during inflation, ration is being distributed at subsidized rate in the county of Bharatpur and sub division Vaer, Rajasthan. Goods that are being sold includes: Wheat, Pulses, Kerosine, Sugar and Rice. These goods are sold in the presence of trained PDS/ Govt. employees allotted for every shop by the county collector. Information of daily stock and distribution will be sent to the county headquarters through SMS (58558). The objective of this SMS Solution is to develop real time reports which will fulfill the department need of instant information. The PDS/Govt. employee will send the SMS with the parameter mentioned below and the Altruist server will capture the data. The captured data will then be uploaded to a web server which can be viewed by the department in form of reports. The reports will be created for different levels and only authorized people will be able to view them on web through secured log in.......more
